Sunshine Bay Seafood @ Tanjung Bunga, Penang.

We have been pratonizing this place for few years now but never get the chance to blog about it until recently we dropped by as to bring my family members for dinner.
This is actually their first time visited this place. I'm glad that they are happy with the food that we ordered.

Food that we savour:

Curry Fish - RM56
The fish is very nice and tasty. The fish is in fact very fresh. Quiet a big serve but luckily we managed to finish it.

Bittergourd with eggs - RM12
I told my aunty about this dish before we enter the restaurant and she is asking me what so special about this dish that one of my cousin never failed to order this dish each time of her visit.
After she savour it and she fell for it. If you like the way they cook, you will definitely love it.

Guinness Stout Chicken - RM18
Very tasty, tender and juicy chicken. No matter young or old people. They love it.

Kappa Mee Sua - RM24
This is actually one of their famous and popular dishes. Since this visit, my aunty is mee sua lover. We ordered this for a try. The serve is really huge in size. It is really a tasty dishes that I would recommend you to try. Even my gal are not fancy of mee sua and she loves it.
Beancurd - RM16
The sambal sauce is very delicious to go with the soft and silky beancurd.

FoOd PaRaDiSe verdict:

We are pleased with their food. A wide range of choice to choose from. Whenever we dropped by for a visit,  they will always have new dishes. Food were delicious. Parking vice, you can park in front of the restaurant or nearby the Malay stall and get a number from them and passed to the boss. They will settle the parking fees for you. A piece of advice, please drop by early or make a booking to avoid full house.

Hana Cafe @ Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

First intention of Hana Cafe for me is to try their Korean Bingsu. As for my hubby, he is more interested with the Korean Fried Chicken. So we have our purpose and bringing my mother in law and aunty. We visited this place at night.
It was actually quite packed with patrons but managed to get a table for five.
At Hana Cafe, you need to fill in the ordered form and hand in to the counter and make your payment. Then sit down and wait for your food being served.
Then you will being served with the pail of hand glove for the chicken.

Ready for Korean Fried Chicken

Food that we try:

Korean Fried Chicken (mix) - half chicken RM28 (6 pieces)
Well, I preferred the original Korean fried chicken over the sweet and sour chicken. If you are garlic lover, you will definitely love the sweet and sour chicken. It has a strong aroma of garlic coated on it.
Korean Ramyun noodles Classic - RM12
I had this classic Korean Ramyun noodles. Love the soup base as compared to the Kim Chi Korean Ramyun Noodles. My guess find that both noodles are a bit spicy for their liking. But for me, I did not feel that it was spicy. The noodles are very springy and not too soft. Both Ramyun noodles came with egg, black sesame seed, Kim chi and seaweed.

Korean Ramyun Noodles Kim Chi - RM14

Dessert that we consume:

Korean Bingsu classic - RM12
Actually, we loved red beans very much. That's why we ordered the classic Korean Bingsu to try. Most voted this classic Korean Bingsu over the mango bingsu.

Korean Bingsu mango - RM15
The fresh mangoes are sweet and sour. Some are sweet and some are sour. It's rather appertising.

Beverages

Hana blend tea (hot) - RM6

Food that we savour:

During our two visits, we ordered different food to try:
Spring cabbage with preserved Vegetables - RM18
I did not try kailan with preserved vegetables (Mui Choy) before. The combination of the two vegetables are well blend together. Something different to try out.
Pork ribs with grape sauce - RM25

Assorted tofu with abalone sauce - RM25
Have tried this duo tofu before when we dined in at Bali Hai Seafood. My family members love it very much. The tofu are very soft. This plate of tofu gone within few minutes.
Curry fish slice - RM30
Curry was very fragrant and nice in aroma. The fish was very fresh.
Nonya style steam fish - RM48
We chose snapper fish for the Nonya style. This is what we order for our second visit. We love this Nonya style snapper fish. The fish is very fresh and the sauce is very nice to go with rice. Would recommend you to try this.
Stir fried eggs with bittergourd - RM12
I am glad that I ordered this dish for a try. As all of us love it very much. The egg was stir fried to just perfect. Not over cooked or undercooked. If you love bittergourd with egg, give this a try!
Glass noodle and Bee Hoon - RM6
The combination of this stir fry glass noodle and bee hoon was quite nice.
Duo dish chicken - RM30
This is the combination dish. One with the grape sauce and another one which we quite love it. The texture is like fish cake but more firmer. I reckon you to give it a try if you love fish ball textures.

Desserts that we consume:

Complimentary jelly

The restaurant that I am going to blog about today is a place at Tanjung Bungah. Most of the people who stay at Tanjung Bungah area would have known this place.
Actually we heard about this place for quite sometime. But we only visited this place few months ago and the latest was weeks ago.
Business was really good during our visit. The first visit we did not had the chance to try out their crab rice. So the second time we called for reservation of the crab rice.
During our first visit, we tried:

Curry Tumis Fish
This dish is very appetising. It is actually tastes a bit like Penang laksa soup. A balancing of sweetness and sourness from the soup. Fish were very fresh too.

Crab Rice - RM79
If you would like to try this crab rice, you better call them and pre-book. I was fortunate on that day. I call around five something and was told that they still have crab rice for the day. Sometime, you can try your luck on the spot to see if you are lucky to get it.
Well, this crab rice is for 4 of us. Which off course including my princess. We were very full after savouring it. No wonder we were told that having crab rice would be enough.
Well, we managed to finish all the crab but still left some rice.

Cincalok Squid - RM12
Well, we tried their cincalok prawn before and loves the sauces. So we decided to order cincalok squid. It was equally delicious for cincalok squid and cincalok prawn.

Piri Piri Chicken - RM18.80
Basically, it is a whole roasted chicken thigh with spicy piri piri sauce. Well be warned though it is very spicy dishes with the bird's eye chili in it. However, I feel that it is something different which will surely open up your appetite as it also include lemon and herbs on it.

Balsamic N' Onion Ribs - RM29.80
I believed that because of the balsamic, the ribs are very tender. The ribs also infused with homemade onion sauce.
