After some briefing of ASIATIQUE, come join me to find out what I have tried during my visit to ASIATIQUE lately.
 Firstly, start with

*************************
SOUPS
GREEN PEA CAPPUCCINO - RM11
Parmesan nutmeg foam and cinnamon lavosh.
POTATO AND LEEK MISO SOUP - RM11
Crispy tofu puffs and nori crackers.
FoOd PaRaDiSe Comment: Out of the two soups, i prefer the the green pea cappuccino. I can taste the strong aroma pea flavours.

STARTER
CHILLED SILKEN TOFU - RM12
Caviar, dried shrimp, hoisin jam and chives.
Basically as it written on top, it's a chilled tofu top with caviar, dried shrimp, hoisin sauce and chives. It is a nice starter to start with if you want something light.
CRAB AND CORN CAKES (3pcs) - RM16
Singapore spicy chilli sauce and arugula salad.
LAKSA FRIED CHICKEN WINGS - RM13
Laksa paste, chilli and lime sauce.
When this starter being served, I can smell the aroma of the laksa. This actually quite interest me as I never think to marinate the chicken wings with laksa paste. The tastes is quite delicious. I think it will be a good choice to go with some beers or wines.

MAIN COURSE
PAN SEARED SALMON - RM30
Laksa cream, pickled cucumber, mint salad and fermented prawn foam.
This is another dish that with laksa flavour. The taste vice is quite nice though. I like the combination of the pickled cucumber and mint salad and not to forget about the laksa cream. But i think my gal sure will tell me she will be very hungry if she only had  this for her main course.
ROAST PORK AGLIO OLIO - RM22
Crispy roast pork, thai basil and chilli flakes.
Have you try roast pork aglio olio before? Well, it's my first time though. I love the combination. But I would prefer the thai basil not to be deep fried. I like thai basil aroma very much. Actually, you cannot taste much of the roast pork in this dish though. Perhaps a bit more roast pork would be perfect.
FIVE SPICE DUCK BREAST - RM34
Yam puree, sautéed chilli spinach, kushiyaki quail eggs and orange plum reduction.
Usually, I will hardly order duck in a western cuisines. The five spice duck breast in ASIATIQUE is kinda delicious. As the duck breast that I tried is quite juicy and tender. I tasted a strong aroma of the orange flavours. I quite enjoy this dish too!
BRAISED PORK BELLY - RM28
Grilled abalone mushroom, garlic spinach aioli, confit potatoes and poached duck egg.
If you like pork belly, may be you can give this a try! And they use poached duck egg rather the normal egg. The pork belly is very tender.
COFIT OF MISO SAKE - RM32
Shrimp and radish cake, coriander and raisin cous cous and miso glaze.
COCONUT AND GINGER CARBONARA FETTUCCINI - RM24
Coconut, ginger and pandan leave cream, poached hainanese chicken, crispy chicken skin and garlic sambal.
This dish is quite rich in flavour. The combination of coconut and cream. I think it tastes nicer to go together with the sambal garlic.
***********************
DESSERTS
SARSI POACHED PEARS - RM12
Rambutan Salsa and nutmeg granita
*****************.
ASIATIQUE still has many desserts which I will try out in my next visit there. Overall, it's quite a nice place to eat out. Ample parking space and the staff are very friendly. And I also like the way that they will always change their menu and try out new things. Stay tune for my second visit!
