Ordering lists
They also adopt the same concept as the Kedai Makanan Hou Mei Yuen. You will need to fill in the order form and hand it to them.
Lor Han Kuo
We order this drink and asked for less sugar. And Carmen (Owner) told us why not having no sugar instead. Once Carmen recommended us that we were happy to accept as usually we did not put any sugar at home. As some shops they tend to put the sugar inside while they were cooking the lor han kuo. And the drink came out to be nice. And not so sweet, the sweetness is coming from the lor han kuo and the dried logan itself. ^-^
We order some additional items apart from the pan mee. You can see the additional items include: sui kow, fish ball, pork ball, porl mince, deep fried ikan billis, vegetables, deep fried fish cake and egg.
Additional Items list
Sui Kow + Vegetables soup
Sui Kow
Sui Kow Fillings
So our additional item we include sui kow and lots of the vegetables. As we would like to try out their sui kow since there are no sui kow in the pan mee. ^-^ The taste of the sui kow turns out to be delicious.
Spicy Pan Mee
This is off course my order. The main purpose to visit this shop is because of this spicy pan mee. As I wanted to try the spicy pan mee for quite a long long time but mostly available in KL.
Now I have the chance to try it in Penang. ok back to the taste, it is not so spicy as expected. All of the ingredients taste nice but i personally think that it is very dried. Perhaps because I took so much time to shoot. The textures of the pan mee is ok for me. But I will try the thinner types of Pan Mee next time as hubby claimed that it tastes fabulous. I don't have the chance to try it as after I finished taking all the photos, he already finished his plate of pan mee. Arghh......
Minced Pork Pan Mee with special sauce
This is hubby ordered. When he saw the menu, the first things he told me is I want to ordered this for my breakfast. ^-^ And he is so happy with his breakfast and told me that the pan mee textures are great and it blend well with all the other ingredients and sauce. Too bad I did not have the chance to taste it but for sure will go back and try it out.
Pan Mee Soup
When I am about to start my breakfast, hubby told me that he want to try the Pan Mee soup. So, I suggest that he try another version of the noodles. The noodles is a bit bigger in size. Hubby let me to have some as he prefers the thinner type pf noodles. As for me, it tastes alright. As different people have different preference right? The soup base is full of the ikan billis aroma.
Do drop by there and have a try of their pan mee! The owner is very kind, lovely and pretty person. If you have any feed back, you can let her know.
