Hardwicke House @ Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, Penang.

Two weeks ago, a bunch of food blogger's are invited to attend the review of Hardwicke House. And would like to thank the Management and Staff for their invitation and Gourmet Garden for their arrangement for this review.
Since it is a weekday dinner, so we had to rush down to town after work. So by the time we arrived there, it's almost 7pm. Therefore, we start our jobs by taking the photos of Hardwicke House outlook and also some of the interiors.
Hardwicke House, some of the interior design and table settings.
After we arrived at Harwicke House, we were asked to take some photos of the hot beverage as following:
All the hot beverages : Flat White @ RM4.80, Cappuccino @ RM 5.50, Cafe Latte @ RM 6.50, Espresso @ RM 3.80 and Regular Black @ RM 3.80 (not shown in the photos above).
I had no comments about the hot beverages mentioned above as I did not have the chance to try any of those. As some of us are too busy with the photos snapping.
If you love this type of coffee, you are welcome to buy it from them. As conversation with Mr. Balan, he told me that they sold CAFFE Molinari Espresso Coffee Pod " Oro ~ it is selected blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee and CAFFE Molinari Decaffeinated Espresso Coffee Pod "Pro" ~ it is also selected blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee decaffeinated. (Both sachet can be seen in the above pictures)
On the other hand, they also sell various types of coffee machine. If you are interested, please enquiries with them.
Apart from the hot beverages, in this review, we had the opportunity to try three wines selection, which I will elaborate more in the following:
During the wine testing session, we had Mr. Balan to brief us with all the wine we tested for the night. First we start of by having some Friulvini Verduzzo IGT (RM 55.00). It is founded in 1959.
The characteristics of the wine are as following:
Colour: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Perfume: Delicate, slightly fruity, pleasantly aromatic.
Flavour: Pleasantly, amiable, slightly acidulous and full bodies.
We were told that it goes well with the entree, confectionery and fruit. That's why this is the first wine we tried before we proceed with our foods.
FoOd PaRaDiSe Comments: I quite enjoy this wine. And I think it will suits people that they started to take wine. This would be the first choice especially for ladies. ^-^
The second wine we tested were Terranoble Sauvignon Blanc 2005 (RM 63.00). It is a wine from Maule Valley, CHILE.
The characteristics of the wine are as following:
Colour: Yellow colour with some greenish tone.
Perfume: Intense fruity aromas in which may find tropical fruits, especially pineapple.
Flavour: Fresh wine, dry and well balanced. It has a good structure and nice natural acidity which remains long permanence in mouth.
Terranoble Sauvignon Blanc 2005 ideal as an aperitif (ie. usually served to stimulate the appetite before a meal), with seafood and fish. It is best drink at 7°C - 8°C.
FoOd PaRaDiSe Comments: This is my favourites drink for the night. I love the aroma very much.
The last wine is Schubert Hardwicke Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 (Recommended Retail Price is RM 118.00. Promotion Price now is RM 60.00), from New Zealand.
The characteristics of the wine are as following:
Colour: Deeply coloured.
Perfume: Combination of blackberries, plum, dark chocolate with notes of walnut and spices.
Flavour: Well structures with layers of super ripe tannins complemented by long, sweet and dark fruit filled finish.
FoOd PaRaDiSe Comments: If you like red wines, I would like to recommend you to try this wine.
