Banana Leaf @ Brown Garden ~ Passions of Kerala

I have been dining here for several times for their banana leaf. This has became a favourite shop for my gal to have banana leaf rice. I think there is no "No" in her dictionary for this shop. This is her favourite shop for banana leaf.
I am sure, this place is not a stranger for anyone. Many blogger's have blog about it. I thought I posts about this last time using my hand phone pictures but I could not find it. And since this meal, I brought along Nancy and Mum for lunch, Nancy asked me to blog about it. As she wants to recommend her friend this delicious banana leaf shop. ^-^
Mango Lassi and Lime Juice
Nancy had the mango lassi and she fell in love with it. As it is very smooth and rich of mango tastes. Out of surprise, the mango lassi is just the perfect sweetness for this meal. Whereas, I have the normal Lime Juice.
Deep Fried Fish
We will usually either order deep fried fish or deep fried chicken for our meal here. As we love the way that they deep fried their fish and chicken. The timing is perfect. Never failed us. The outer part is very crunchy and the inside is very tender. I do recommend you to try their deep fried fish and deep fried chicken when you dine in here.
Deep Fried Chicken
This is the second trip for Nancy to have meal in here and she falls in love with the deep fried chicken and fish. And she said that next time she came back for a visit, she "Must" ordered both of the dishes. ^-^
Deep Fried Bitter Gourd
We ordered this before and since Nancy never tried this, we decided to order for her to try. The deep fried bitter gourd is not that bitter and it has a nice aroma. As I believed that they do put some spice and marinate it before they deep fried it.
Sotong Masala
We also ordered Sotong Masala. The sotong is very nice and tender but however, some find that this dish is very spicy.
Chicken Masala
Oh gosh... another chicken. ^-^ As hubby wants to order some for Nancy to try. So he ordered chicken masala for her. The chicken masala is nice, tender and juicy. But once again some find that it is a bit spicy. ^-^
Banana Leaf with Vegetarian Set
This is what you will get with your banana leaf with vegetarian set. There are 4 kinds of vegetarian, few papadam and rice with the curry sauce.

I am tempted by this post.

Passions of Kerala is my favourite Indian restaurant! Banana leaf rice is good if you use the hands to eat it. I also like the mango lassi a lot.
