MIRAKU RESTAURANT @ G Hotel Gurney Drive, Penang

Hubby is always wanting to try out "MIRAKU RESTAURANT" since the day it starts operation in G Hotel. You can make a reservation by calling 04 - 2298702.
MIRAKU RESTAURANT entrance, interior and table settings.
Once we were seated, we were given their menu and serve us with green tea and beans. After browsing through the menu, hubby decided to order:

Edamame for my gal. And also Sake Kawa Temaki. I am surprised that hubby would order Sake Kawa Temaki as he rarely ordered any temaki. ^o^ The tastes vice for the temaki is just so-so.
Next..... hubby also order:

Yakitori ~ RM10
The chicken is very tender and tastes alright. But we had tested a better Yakitori than this in other outlets.
Sushi
Hubby is craving for sushi. So after browsing through the menu, he decided to order the above sushi to try. Overall..... their sushi is only so-so for our liking.
Ika Sugata Yaki
wow..... that's one of my gal favourites too. It is very tender and tastes ok.
Nabeyaki Zen
Hubby also ordered a set of "Nabayaki Zen". It consists of udon, 2 types of temaki, salads, chawanmushi and jelly. Overall, the udon tastes not bad and the temaki is so-so and nothing much to elaborate. ^o^

Hmmm you weren't impressed? I've been very happy with my meals here - real quality and superb service. You should give them another go and order other items from their menu.

The restaurant looks nice, the food presentation also looks nice... :)

I agree with Selba about the nice food presentation. The restaurant looks clean and comfortable, too. There are quite a few nice Japanese restaurants here in KL too but mostly expensive.
