Peace and Joy Coffee Shop @ Lebuh China, Penang

During one weekend while we were searching around to have our breakfast, we recall that there is a coffee shop located in Lebuh Cina that always fill with people. So we wonder why there are so many people patronise the shop. So we try out ~

Kedai Kopi Peace & Joy Coffee Shop
When we enter the coffee shops, we were busy looking right and left, to and fro...... to see what people ordering. End up we come to conclusion and ordered:
Mee Goreng
You must be wonder why this mee goreng did not have chili on it. Well.... hubby asked the Indian boss not to put any chili for him. Hubby comments that the mee goreng tastes good. I had a try and I reckon, it will taste much more better with the chillies. ^o^
Bee Hoon Th'ng
My gal opts for the bee hoon thn'g and it is very mild in tastes but the bee hoon texture is good.
Hokkien Mee
Hubby ordered this for me and the tastes is just so-so only. But out of surprise, many people came and order this.

I recommend you to try out the One Tonnes Noodle here. If I'm not mistaken, they moved from opposite shoplot to here. :-)

Ooh I've always been quite curious about this outlet too, coz always passing by when heading to Little India for banana leaf. Must be one of those old & gold favourites... also, I think it has a really cool name! :-)

Hong CN - Thanks for your recommendation. Will try that one day. I try the Wantan Mee from the opposite restaurant last year but not sure if it's the one you refer to. But will find out when I visited this restaurant again.

SimpleGirl - The mee goreng tastes not bad too!

Selba - Tastes not bad too. Yes... it's a bit different than Indonesian Mee Goreng.

The sole attraction of this shop is the One Tonne noodle shop. It moved from the opposite row some years back. Do try it out, the crowd of local Penangites queueing up for tables can't be wrong.
