One weekend, we went down to this coffee shop to have our breakfast, there are lot of people there. Every coffee shop in this area is always full house during weekend. We managed to find a place and started to order foods for our breakfast.

Ipoh Hor Fun

Hubby looks around and he decided to try Ipoh Hor Fun. The hor fun is very thin and very smooth. And the chicken is very tender and juicy. I get to savour some and we love it very much.


Fried Tang Hoon

Hubby also ordered fried tang hoon for himself and he comments that the tang hoon tastes delicious. However, the serve is a bit too small for him. lol

Fried Koay Teow

I felt like having some char koay teow that day. So hubby ordered one plate for me. And the char koay teow tastes nice.

Wantan Mee

This is my gal ordered. She comments that the wantan mee tastes nice. As she loves noodle with QQ texture.

Yam and Raddish Kuih

Apom

My gal saw some people are having apom and she told us that she would like to have some too. So hubby bought her some when we are on the way back. And she loves it very much.

Overall, most of the foods in this coffee shops tastes delicious.

Sri Nibong Cafe

I am sure that most of the people will know about this place. It is quite popular in this area. Normally during weekend it is full house. lol We used to visit this coffee shop but it's been quite sometime that we did not visited them. And I recall that I did not do any review about this coffee shop. So I decided to blog about it.

Hokkien Mee

Hubby had this and the hokkien mee is not too bad.

"O" Kuih
I don't know why hubby went and order this "O" kuih. lol The "O" kuih has been deteriorate over the past few years. It is hardly to see the yam in there.

Chee Cheong Fun

My gal had this and she commented that the chee cheong fun was not bad.

Koay Tiaw Thn'g Stall

This is one of the popular stall in this coffee shop. And you need to wait for quite sometime for their Koay Tiaw Th'ng. The koay tiaw th'ng is not bad.

Apom and Tosai

While dining there, hubby saw people eating tosai and he is scratching his head where did they order it. And I look around and I saw an Indian auntie is selling things opposite the coffee shop. So hubby went over and bought the apom and tosai. Hubby comments that tosai is not bad. My gal and I try the apom. The apom is very thin and crispy but we find that it is too SWEET for us. lol

Malay Kuih

Past few weeks, hubby got visitor's to their work place. And they have to prepare some kuih muih for their visitor's. Following are 2 different kinds of kuih that hubby loves.

Hubby went to the vegetarian stall @ Relau to see if anything attracted to him. But he came back with this Ti Kuih. lol It is nice to eat while it is hot.

Soya Bean & "O" Kuih

Location: Road side stall @ Kampung Jawa.

I bought the soya drink with "Black" sugar this time. Since hubby told me that it taste nice. As usually I will bought without sugar. And it in fact taste nice with black sugar. I told the aunty to give me just a bit of black sugar. lol

"O" Kuih

Well.... the "o" kuih is not bad. Should have a try if you never try that b4.

This stall also sell "Tau Fu Fah" but I never try it b4. Will try it next time.

Soong Village Restaurant

Tonight we went to Soong Village Restaurant for dinner. For a quick and easy meal since we need to do some grocery shopping nearby. Hubby came with his colleague to this place few days ago which I blog earlier.

Hong Kong Style 'Ying Yong' (Cold)

The drinks are not too bad but not the best one I ever had. lol But the drinks is very big.

Deep Fried Crispy Wantan

This one is off course for my gal. She loves deep fried wantan a lot. It is in fact very crispy and the ingredients for the wantan is very nice too.

Deep fried Carrot Cake with Dry Prawn

Hubby saw someone order this and he order this for me to try. It got a very nice aroma and it taste not bad. But cannot eat too much at once as it make you feel full very easily. Worth to try!!!

'Chai Sim' with oyster sauce

aiyo.... the chai sim is very nice but........ the oyster sauce is very sweet. Like putting sugar in there. lol may be should name this dish as chai sim with sugar. lol

"Hiong Ha Lo" Fried Rice

Hubby had this and he say is nice and my gal also ate some of this.

Fried rice with prawn and long bean

I try this out. It is ok. In fact many small prawn in there and which only cost $3.80. Cheap???

Overall, the food there is ok. It is a quick and easy style. Actually like KIM GARY. But this one is the cheapest version. lol The total bill is only MYR25.60 (including hot milo + mineral water)

Steam Tapoica Kuih

After breakfast, we walk across to Fook Cheong cafe to buy steam tapoica kuih. And it taste ok.

Peanut butter toast

This is a very rich toast. It taste GOOD and have a nice aroma but you cannot eat to much as it make you feel hectic after few pieces. Basically they use a big thick bread, toasted and quoted with generous amount of butter and peanut butter and sprinkle some toasted peanut on top of the bread. If you loves Peanut Butter, I am sure you will going to fall in love with this.

This stall Wantan Mee taste very nice. My daughter had this and she loves it very much. I prefer the noodles with the QQ texture. And this stall texture is what I love. LOL

"O" Kuih

You hardly find chuncky "YAM" inside the "O" kuih nowadays in Penang. Mostly you found was the blended type of yam inside "O" Kuih". Well...... this stall "O" kuih had the chuncky yam inside the "O" kuih. And it taste quite nice. Go and have a try!!!!

Well.....I don't like this hay chee. No taste and not crispy too. Hahhahaaa........

It is still hot while I bought it. And it taste not bad. They even have a slice of hard boiled egg in there. hahhahaa....... Chuncky chicken too. Not too spicy and crunchy.

Steam Tapoica with grated coconut

Well..... not so good. I still missed the Ocean Green steam tapoica. It is the best so far.
