I browse through my photos and wonder what to post and i decided to post Bak Kut Teh since it has been raining for the past few days in Penang.

We went to Old Green House coffee shop during one outing last month as hubby want to have some Hokkien Mee.

It was raining when we about to have our dinner. We were lucky that we are able to get a car park just next to Old Green House Coffe Shop. When we opened our car door, the bak kut teh aroma get to us immediately.......... lol In our mind, immediately we want to have bak kut teh instead of other things. ^-^ Seem like the bak kut teh cast us the spell............. we just cannot resist the temptation.

So after sitting down, hubby went to order Bak Kut Teh from

This is our bowl of bah kut teh....... I think hubby ordered most of the things....... such as meat ball, spare ribs, enoki mushroom, mushroom slice, pork innards.............. Half way through the meal, hubby went to order extra meat ball for my gal. And we were filled with hot bowl of soup too..... so imagine that in a rainy day with bah kut teh...... it's just nice..... right?

The yam rice tasted alright.

The total price for the meal cost us RM23.60 including extra bowl of meat ball, 2 yam rice and Claypot Bah Kut Teh.

This shop sold tom yam and clear soup been hoon too. Next time, we will go back and try their bee hoon soup.

Hubby say it is the worse bee chai bak thn'g that he ever taste. But he comment that the bee chai bak is ok but not the soup. :P

Too many MSG in the soup.

Overall, we were not satisfy with the food. But we will go back to try out their "Bakar Fish". Hubby colleague told him that their grilled fish is GOOD.

Well, this stall Bak Kut Teh is nice. Love it very much. Their beancurd is very nice. You cannot find this in any other bak kut teh stall. Yummy!!!!!

It's been long time that we did not go and visit big fat bak kut teh. They moved to another cafe behind Sri Nibong Cafe. Hubby and I had yam rice and my gal had steamed rice. After we finished our first claypot bak kut teh we order another claypot but only with all kinds of mushroom. And we finished it. hahhahahhahaha Apart from that we order lettuce and loh beancurd.

Yam Rice - Diced yam cubes are deep - fried to a crisp, add in sauteed dried shrimps to cook with the rice.

Last time we went to the shop next door. This time we try out this shop. If you want very sour soup and big yam in your rice you should definitely visit this shop.

Hmm...... the food is very nice and the special chilli sauce is fabulous. But forgot to take photo of it. The favourite part is the "soup". It is serve HOT each time. What I mean is they will always add extra hot soup for you when you are eating. So each time you drink the soup it is hot. It will never turn "COLD".
Note: Hubby and I feel hungry soon after we arrive Penang. hahahaha I think the soup make us hungry! LOL
