Afternoon Snack Part II

I blog about this place b4. Please refer to here for the location and map. Been to this shop quite often when we decide to get something to eat after lunch hours. lol

They offer varities of foods - such as steam tapoica, mee rebus, steam red bean kuih, ku chai strip, steam banana kuih, tom yam bee hoon, loh bak, kuih ko sui and........ But everyday different menu. 

Today I want to introduce their

Prawn fritters

I bought this once for Melb uncle to try it and he comments that it is fabulous and it is even better than the malays stall prawn fritters. lol My gal loves it. Actually, I think she loves the prawns. lol It is a bit bigger than the usual stall. It cost MYR1 per pc. And it is only available on Wednesday only. And if you want to try it out, I recommend that you better go there around 2pm. If not you might be dissapointed as it will sold out pretty fast. lol 

But I am lucky yesterday as I arrive there around 3pm and I still managed to get some.

Char Siew Puff

Well.... since I saw people bought this and only left few. So I decided to try it out. When I ate the puff, it is still warm. But I think it is a little too sweet for me. lol 

PRAWN FRITTERS

While I am doing some house chore at home. My phone ring. And It's hubby. He asked us to get ready in few minutes as he is going to pick us up and went to town to fix his spectacles. lol So I quickly get ready and went off. On the way back, hubby asked aunt to stop by at this stall and buy some prawn fritters, bean curd (tau kua), spring roll and loh bak.

Guess what????? Off course I did not bring along my camera in a hurry. So hubby and I use our hand phone to take photos. lol 

I asked my hubby how he know this place, he told me he read Criz blog yesterday night. lol

Actually we bought a lots from the stall but on the way home, we already started eating inside the car. lol So, from the photos there are the only left overs. lol

Chillies sauce

I purposely left some as I want to taste the chillies sauce. And the chillies sauce is a bit spicy for me and sour too. I think they put lime or lemon in there. lol We love it.

Well..... the gal that serves us is very nice looking and cute. And she is very friendly. lol Actually when she starts cutting the loh bak for us, my hubby is already starting eating there.

Overall.... their foods is not bad. Eat it while it is hot. That's make it more perfect.

Oh yes..... they open everyday from 8am to 6pm.

Auntie Anne's

We try auntie anne's pretzel few years back.  But never try pretzel dog b4. Actually I accidentally saw it when I passed by Auntie Anne's stall on my way out to the car park.

Basically it is hot dog wrapped with pretzel. lol And it cost MYR5.00 per piece. I think the pretzel dog that we bought is slightly burn. The taste is so-so but my gal don''t like it. :)

Cream Puffs & Chicken Tarts

After we visited Annabelle's place we went to Sg. Kelian to buy some cream puffs and chicken tarts. The stall is located in front of Chew City Cafe. We did not managed to get apple tarts this time as it was sold out. lol So today I am going blog about:

Well.... I found the tart very cute. And it is nice that they do it so mini. lol So you don't feel too full if you consume one or two during tea time. There are so many ingredients inside the chicken tart too. Such as chicken, peas, carrots.......

Dark Chocolate - Ghana Origin

I bought this from "THE CHOCOLATE BOUTIQUE" in Penang 1 year ++ ago when we were touring around Penang with Nancy and Margret. As this is the popular chocolate in this shop and it is dark chocolate and not sweet at all. I bought some. Furthermore, it say it can lower blood pressure. hahaaaa...... not sure whether is true or not but the chocolate is not bad.
