Mushroom Soup

The soup is very creamy and not too bad.

Grilled Salmon

I had this and it is perfect. The salmon is very juicy. The tartar sauce is EXCELLENT!!!!!!

Indiana Chicken

Hubby had this and the chicken is very tender. wow!!!!! taste great........

Gal had fish and chips but when I download all the photos I dunno why the picture is missing. Anyway, gal love that.

Overall the food is great and cheap too!!!! We had fish n chips, indiana chicken, grilled salmon, 2 big bowl of mushroom soup only cost us RM30. Cheap right? But you have to go there very early if not you have to wait very long time. By 7pm, the shop is already full of customers. Please remind that there are no fan or air condition in this shop.

Toh Soon Cafe

Location: Campbell Street, Penang.

I saw the following from THE STAR METRO by By FARIDAH BEGUM on 20.04.2008

"In Penang, the Toh Soon Cafe on Campbell Street is thoroughly popular as the kopitiam bread, sans the crust, is held over a charcoal fire on a wire rack, and slathered with butter and kaya before it is plonked on your table. Different aroma of coffee not too bad and it is not very thick. I like it!

Not bad and a bit spicy.......

I think is just normal. Nothing special although it is using charcoal fire.

Steam bread with butter and kaya

The bread is very soft.

Half boiled egg

Guess what????? My gal finished the egg by herself today. Usually she will just dip with the bread. This egg is more than half boiled. So it taste good.

This coffee shop also sell different kind of bread loaf - such as hainan bread, chocolate marble bread, white bread, low calorie bread and................. They also sell coffee powder too.

Be prepare to wait for long longgggggggggg time for your food unless you go pretty early like 7am. hahahhahaaaa...........
