FoOd PaRaDiSe Review:

After last spring cleaning, we decided to go out for dinner. We have been to this place few times, but I did not blog about it. For this visit, we realised that they have changed their menu. Some of the foods we tried were no longer in the menu. But they introduce some new choices too.

Piri Piri Chicken - RM18.80

Basically, it is a whole roasted chicken thigh with spicy piri piri sauce. Well be warned though it is very spicy dishes with the bird's eye chili in it. However, I feel that it is something different which will surely open up your appetite as it also include lemon and herbs on it.

Balsamic N' Onion Ribs - RM29.80

I believed that because of the balsamic, the ribs are very tender. The ribs also infused with homemade onion sauce.

Flaming spicy ribs - RM19.70

We was introduced to the new flavour of rib. Was told that it is a bit spicy for those who cannot take spicy food. It turn out to be not too spicy for us except for my princess. 

Top CheeZzy Pizza - RM23.80

This turn out to be my princess favourite pizza for the night. She loves cheese very much and with the pineapple and tomatoes also her favourite topping. It also came with some olives.

BBQ Pizza - RM24.80

This pizza topping came with mince ribs, bacon, pineapple, olives, tomatoes, BBQ sauce and cheese.

FoOd PaRaDiSe verdict:

Overall, it's a nice place to dine in. Cosy ambience's, lovely and friendly attendant. We enjoyed their ribs and pizza. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to try out their pork knuckle which you need to made reservation one day before. Perhaps, the next visit.  

Wantan Mee @ 71 Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah, Penang

Few days ago, hubby saw a post about this wantan mee in facebook and reckon that we shall give it a try. This shop was operating in a house and the uncle told us that his operating hour is from 7am till 11pm. And the plate of normal wantan mee is RM3 not longer RM2.50. However, the wantan itself is still RM0.10/piece.

It is located at No. 71, Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah, Penang. (Slightly opposite to Tenby International School)

Having a chat with uncle and he told us that if we would like to buy some wantan for Chinese New Year can come and buy from him. He will be selling 3 types of wantan - frozen wantan, deep fried wantan and fresh wantan. According to the uncle, price of wantan will be remain unchanged if order for Chinese New Year.

Hubby ordered for big serve. We were surprised to see that it is really big in size. The noodles are a bit different from others. You can see from the picture.

It cost just RM0.10/pc of wantan. Uncle told us must go with the sauce. And told us that the sauce is same with the wantan noodles.

FoOd PaRaDiSe verdict

I personally quite like the noodles as it is very springy. In term of the wantan, I still preferred the deep fried wantan over the soup wantan.

Ah Lai Cafe @ Churtch Street Ghaut, Penang.

I have been patronizing this shop for quiet sometime. I remembered the first time was on one of the Saturday morning. 

This shop is not hard to find. It just next to the DSOP shop. Although, it is just a small shop but the business is very good. All you need to do is find a seat and sit down and the owner will come taking orders from you.

Special Ice Coffee

This is a must ordered item for me when patronizing this shop. However, be warned that it is quite sweet though. 

Half Boiled Egg on Buttered Toast

My hubby and gal usually will order this during their visit. They just love the half boiled egg on buttered toast. The toast is very crunchy although it was topped by the half boiled egg.

This will be my alternative if I did not ordered the noodles. Basically it is a toasted bread with sausage, cheese and egg. 

Curry Instant Noodles + Cheese

You must be wondering what so special about this curry instant noodles right? This curry instant noodles came with some cabbage and sausage and egg topped with chesse. Off course you can opt for no cheese too. Including cheese is something different. 

They also served Tom Yam and Normal soup base.
