Hokkien Mee
This is the first time I am trying out the halal version of hokkien mee. Yup, you heard me right, that's my first time savouring halal hokkien mee. From the outlook of the hokkien mee, it's totally the same as the non-halal type of hokkien mee.
The taste vice, it is rather sweet type of hokkien mee even with the chili paste add on to it. I think those who cannot take spicy food would love this bowl of hokkien mee. This bowl of hokkien mee loaded with small prawns, half boiled egg, shredded chicken, crab stick and fish ball.
Koay Teow Soup
They also selling Koay Teow Soup.We ordered the chicken version of koay teow soup. You can order the beef koay teow soup or even mixed chicken and beef. Hubby had this bowl of koay teow soup and I tried some of it. It has a sweet broth like the hokkien mee. This bowl of koay teow soup also loaded with fish balls, shredded vegetables and chicken. It also served with the chili paste. You can add all the chili paste into the koay teow soup, then it will turn slightly red in colour but not spicy.
FoOd PaRaDiSe verdict:
If you would like to try out the hokkien mee and koay teow soup, my advise is to come early. Heard that there are many customers waiting for the owner to open their stall as early as 10am. We were lucky that we have the chance to savour the food on our first visit. As after we finished, we were told that they have sold out and it is just barely 12:40 pm. I am happy to try out both hokkien mee and koay teow soup. We ordered 2 bowl of Hokkien Mee, 1 bowl of Chicken Koay Teow Soup and 1 glass of Ice Mata Kucing cost us RM15.
