Morning Wantan Mee @ intersection of Lebuh Melayu and Beach Street

I am not too sure whether you have awared of this shop before. Lately, we passed by this place very frequent. I just blogged about the night Koay Teow Th'ng in my last post, here. Which is also the same place that I am going to blog about this post but different owner.

Wantan Mee
This stall wantan mee is relatively cheap. As nowadays you hardly get a cheap wantan mee like RM2.30 (Small) and RM3 (Big). I brought along my gal on our second visit to try the wantan mee. As we think that she might like it. When we told her that the wantan mee is only RM2.30, she was telling us that this wantan mee is very cheap and lots of ingredients compare to her school canteen selling for RM2 with limited ingredients on it.
Actually I am very particular with the wantan mee that have strong taste of strong alkaline water. But this stall, you don't have to worry much about the alkaline water. The noodles are not too soft either. Just fine texture. The chili paste is very nice. For me, it is in the acceptable range of spiciness.

Koay Teow Bee Hoon Soup
Since they are selling Koay Teow Th'ng and Bee Hoon Th'ng. So we ordered one to try on our first visit. When hubby went for ordering the owner suggest that we should try the combination of Koay Teow and Bee Hoon which she reckoned taste better that way.
Well...... the soup does not have a strong base compares to the night Koay Teow Th'ng stall. So if you like something milder version of the Koay Teow Th'ng perhaps you can give this a try.
