Recently seem like we always dine for Malay foods. lol Today, I want to introduce you with this famous curry fish @ Jalan Permatang Laut, Penang.
Direction: If you come from Bayan Lepas Industrial Area, you will pass by Diamond Valley, keep going straight and reach Kampung Permatang Damar Laut. Then you will see the curry fish stall on your left. (It is nearby to the Pasar Malam)
They start operating @5.30pm till they sold out. (usually by 8pm)
Usually b4 the stall open, you will see lots of Malays and Chinese queueing there for their foods. And their wok that cooking the curry fish head / curry fish is really big. lol But unfortunately, hubby did not bring along the camera to take photos.
Curry Fish
The fish is really fresh. After the first bite, I fall in love with it. The curry fish is not lemak type. It is like assam types. Very yummy...... So I think I finished the whole curry fish lol.
Sambal Fish
It is deep fried with sambal sauce. It tastes not bad.
Fragrant Rice with herbs
If you want to buy some rice. This is the type of rice being serve. It has a nice aroma of herbs.
Apart from the above, they also have beef, chicken, cuttle fish and.............
