Hubby went to bought this in vegetarian stall. And he commented that this heo pia is nice (as he bought that last year and in the same stall) but....... the ingredients inside is lesser than last year. lol May be this is due to the price hike for everything. lol

It is not easy to find yummy HEO PIA as they come in either too thick skin or the ingredients is too sweet.
The ones that your hubby bought looks good with quite thin layers of skin.

I am not the fans of HEO PIA but my hubby loves it.lol But I can assure you that this HEO PIA is not too sweet.

I got this type of biscuit too...at one of the stall outside the Sungai Ara wet market. Besides, it can be found at one of the stall in the Bayan Baru wet market near Sunshine, and also Than Xiang Temple.
